After hearing a recording of Richard Playing "I Need to be in Love" during the RPO sessions, a Decca Executive set in motion the idea of Richard recording a solo piano album of Carpenters recordings.  Released first in Japan in 2021, the US release came in 2022.

I have the US vinyl and the CD versions from US and Japan.
