I had purchased this CD several years ago from CDJapan.  I had listened to it often and then it disappeared.  I somehow lost it....still not sure where it is.  So I finally ordered again.  I haven't opened the new copy as of yet.  The pictures on this page were taken with my phone as opposed to scanning.

This Japanese compilation was released for the Carpenters 40th anniversary and contains 40 selections...hence the 40/40.  Basically the same album was released later in the US, but didn't have the subtitle.

The album charted at #21 in the UK and #3 in Japan, making them one of the Western artists with the most top-10 albums in Japan.

GREAT compilation.  Enjoyed it very much.....haven't opened the replacement copy yet.
