Another book by Randy Schmidt, this book tells the story of the Carpenters looking at it from Karen's perspective.  Many of Karen's friends provided stories and input - many of them were not interviewed for the Coleman book, or chose not to participate in that project.  In telling Karen's story, the cover photo says much, without saying anything.

I have two copies of this book.  One I purchased at a store near us and the other one I purchased from Randy and he signed it.

When Randy was working on this book, he contacted me with a question about a photo.  We chatted for a while and my name appeared in the book on the acknowledgements section.  Actually my name appears on two pages - see the pic.  :)
